@C at the very start of a paragraph sets a red decorative initial on that letter — e.g. @Crédo in Déum…
\V → red ℣. (versicle) ·  \R → red ℟. (response)
\+ → red ✝ (cross) ·  \* → red ∗ (repeat / choir mark)
**bold** ·  *italic* ·  # Heading ·  --- on its own line starts a new page (every 8 makes another foldable sheet).
*** on its own line draws a red ornamental divider — a flourish to separate or group sections within a page.
A Markdown table renders as borderless columns (the blank header row is ignored) — good for fitting short entries, like a reading plan, two or three across.

How to fold the printed sheet
  1. Print single-sided on US Letter.
  2. Fold in half lengthwise (hotdog fold), guide-lines facing out.
  3. Fold in half again (hamburger fold) — now in quarters.
  4. Fold once more — now in eighths.
  5. Unfold back to the lengthwise fold.
  6. Cut the centre crease only, between the two middle rows.
  7. Refold and press the ends together to form the booklet.

More than 8 sections makes extra sheets, each its own booklet. Print them one-per-page on separate sheets, or print two pages double-sided to get a booklet on each side of one sheet.
